I find it very useful to have a dry run of the dinner table embellishments long before Christmas dinner! Chose Believe in Santa for the theme, and paired the gold glass chargers with the tiny burgundy/green stockings to hold the silverware. You cannot fail with lots of gold and red velvet accessories! Kudos to hubby for polishing the humongous candlesticks, vases, reindeer sleighs, trumpeting angels, etc!
