My Mom and Dad were old school and loved a fir tree with ornaments and tinsel, but with large swaths of bare tree peeking thru. I find myself with far too many treasured ornaments to leave any orphan ornaments in their boxes, unused and unloved! You will have to look carefully to see a tree shape under all the shiny ornaments. We like old-fashioned bubble lights for their bright color and movement and we used four strings of them on the tree. Like all Christmas trees, our tree is unique to our family, and our ornaments will not be anything like your choices. There are 2 ornaments from our tree from the year my son was born. My Mom’s favorite ornament hangs there in remembrance of her love of this season. Over there is the first ornament we bought as a married couple. Lots of wonderful memories!
