Christmas Dining Decor

Delightful Dining any day, but at Christmas its a spectacular event!

Dark Wood Cozies it up!

Carpet begone!

We decided to get rid of the white carpet in our dining room and media/pool table room and replaced it with wood planks. We paired dark aubergine for the upholstery on the chairs in this room, and in other rooms ruby red offers shimmering texture to the dark flooring.

In a stark about-face we have here our newest wreath not in red and gold but in gold, silver and copper, topped by a glittered reindeer at the top! I must admit this new color choice was suggested and executed by my hubby, but I found the prancing gold reindeer in Hobby Lobby this year who finishes off the look! (All the wreaths in our home are made from scratch picks and ornaments/decor each year, nothing is hot-glued or permanently fastened on.)

Dining Room Bar Cart Ready to Quench Your Thirst!

Last year we used my quasi tea/liquor cart as a Sweet Server complete with giant candy canes, large chocolate Santa Claus, cupcakes, and cookies. This year we had some great bottles of booze to display for a tipsy holiday!
