With all the free time on his hands, my husband has been customizing our golf cart. Weeks spent tearing the golf cart down to basically a seat, steering wheel and four tires he emerged victorious! But first he had to learn the delicate art of fiberglassing, the hands dirty parts–resin, primer, sanding and more sanding.
Who doesn’t love a lipstick red hot ZL1 Camaro? This takes
golf carting to a whole new level!
The cart features ZL1 Badging, blacked out side lamp markers, vampyre wheels, custom hood scoop, front air dam, genuine car grill, rally racing stripes on the hood, air intake, and a custom spoiler on the back.
The spoiler is an actual car spoiler which was cut in half and fiberglassed at the cut, then painted!
Here is a view from the driver’s seat, note the genuine carbon fiber car steering wheel and matching carbon fiber dash! Even left a few tools and bits in the picture, the man cave now needs a deep cleaning and all tools and accessories put away again!
This man cave project was a complete labor of love, with calluses, bleeding fingers, metal shavings everywhere, late dinners, and midnight work sessions!
